See an outstanding array of Stewart Island's abundant marine and bird life not only on the water but under it as well! Our vessel boasts an on board ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) that can descend up to 600m via fibre optic cable, to capture live footage of marine life below the surface that is screened onto high definition 4K, 65” TVs in our lounge area for our guests to view. Stewart Island also offers the best chance to spot a kiwi in the wild. This iconic bird is nocturnal so an early morning excursion when it is still dark is ideal to go ashore kiwi spotting.
