Jill Grant founded A Walker's World in 1992 when New Zealanders knew little of the concept of inn-to-inn style walking holidays. Popularity of these active outdoor holidays, especially in the varied countryside of Europe, grew and cycling holidays based on a similar concept evolved. Jill has cycled many of Cycling Europe's routes in Croatia, France, Austria, Hungary and Italy. She is keen to share her firsthand experience and the benefit of over 30 years experience in the travel industry.

Therese Brooking has amassed a wealth of knowledge through the last 19 years she has spent in the travel industry at A Walker’s World. This combined with her travels to many parts of the globe contribute to creating ‘trips of a lifetime’ itineraries that perfectly combine activities and sights with special accommodation suited to the destination and you, the client. 
Therese’s sense of adventure and exploration has taken her to many parts of the globe in search of the perfect holiday destination for our clients.
Recently, she cycled and cruised the idyllic islands of Croatia, walked parts of Spain’s Costa Brava Way, escorted a small group through Umbria and Tuscany by Vespa, and tried tango in exciting Buenos Aires.

Adrienne Reid From a background in advertising and marketing, Adrienne’s creative flair shines through in our brochure covers, facebook pages and PR work. Between her award-winning career in advertising and joining A Walker’s World, Adrienne did a stint at Air New Zealand which whet her appetite to become involved in a broader scope of the travel and tourism industry.
Adrienne believes delivering exceptional holidays and great customer service are key when it comes to creating memorable travel experiences for our clients.
Her personal interests include walking (of course!), bridge, tennis (she has managed successful Chelsea Cup teams), golf, travel, family and friends.

Lisa Mead Lisa’s passions are travel (of course!), orienteering, tramping and cycle-touring. Her favourite experiences have been hiking in the Pyrenees and from Geneva to Nice; cycling off the beaten track in Northern Vietnam; and cycling along the Loire River in France.
She has worked for Singapore Airlines and a New Zealand–based cycle-tour company before a two year break to pursue her own adventures in Europe then explore the Hauraki Gulf islands as a volunteer with the Department of Conservation.
Lisa joined A Walker’s World / CYCLING EUROPE in 2016 and enjoys helping our clients create wonderful travel experiences of their own.
