Your Journey

Day 1: Arrive Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Days 2 - 3: Chobe National Park

Cross the border into Botswana and the Chobe NP which has one of the largest concentrations of elephant found on the African continent. Enjoy game drives and a stunning sunset cruise on the Chobe River.

Days 4 – 5: Hwange National Park

Two days to explore this vast wilderness, home to great herds of elephant, buffalo and zebra plus high concentrations of giraffe. Visit the Painted Dog Conservation Centre.

Days 6 – 7: Lake Kariba

Board a luxury houseboat for a two-night trip on this man-made inland sea with enormous game reserves at its shoreline. Spend your days fishing, on guided walks, motorised boat excursions and a sunset beach barbecue.

Days 8 – 9: Matobo Hills

Travel south to the majestic Matobo Hills, an area of dramatic rock landscapes steeped in tribal history. It is home to black and white rhino and the world’s densest population of leopard. The Ndebele people buried their great king Mzilikazi here and it is also the place that Cecil John Rhodes was laid to rest. Experience the excitement of rhino tracking by vehicle and on foot.

Day 10: Nata

Drive across the savannah of southern Matabeleland to the Nata Bird Sanctuary.

Day 11: Makgadikgadi Pans

Go to Planet Baobab then embark on an expedition to Ntwetwe Pan, one of the two major pans that make up the Makgadikgadi Pans and amongst the largest saltpans in the world.

Day 12: Makgadikgadi to Maun

Maun is a bustling safari town and ‘gateway to the Okavango Delta’. Optional spectacular scenic flight over the Delta.

Day 13: Khwai River

Board a mokoro (dug-out canoe) to pole gently through the thick vegetation of the Okavango Delta followed by a night drive to spot nocturnal animals.

Day 14: Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi has an unprecedented concentration of wildlife.

Day 15: Maun

Your safari ends with a transfer to Maun Airport.
