This mobile adventure safari covers some of the best wilderness areas in Botswana, from the magic of Nxai Pan through the unique Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve.
Starting in Kasane and ending at the Victoria Falls in Livingstone, it offers unbeatable value for money where participants are only required to set up their own tents and help make and break camp. A camp crew is there to cook and do the rest of the chores.

Day 1 Chobe Area (Camping)

The safari officially begins in Kasane, Botswana, at 1 pm. Enjoy a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River.

Days 2 & 3 Nxai Pan National Park (Camping)

Early start to drive 500 kilometres south to Nxai Pan National Park where sweet grasses host a variety of wildlife. Explore Nxai Pan and the plains which are often dotted with grazing herds of impala and springbok. See magnificent Baines Baobabs.

Day 4 Maun (Camping)

After a morning game drive, continue to Maun - the gateway to the Okavango Delta.

Days 5 & 6 Okavango Delta (Camping)

Travel in a north westerly direction from Maun to the southern side of the Okavango Delta, a special corner of paradise. At the edge of the Delta, transfer your equipment to motorboats and cruise along the narrow papyrus-lined channels enjoying the exquisite birdlife of the region as well as the stunning landscape. Deeper in the Delta transfer to mokoros (a traditional dugout canoe) for a tranquil transfer to an island. Spend two days exploring this beautiful area by mokoro excursions and guided walks on the islands and floodplains of the Okavango. You will camp wild with bush ablutions.

Day 7 Maun (Camping)

Retrace your route to Maun or take a scenic flight over the Delta to Maun (1hr scenic flight is EUR 120 per person, min. 3 guests to guarantee the flight). This magical experience provides another perspective of the Okavango Delta’s unique water system from the air. Overnight Maun.

Days 8, 9 & 10 Moremi Game Reserve (Camping)

Drive to the Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best wilderness areas of Botswana which covers swamp and dry areas. The next three days will be spent searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birds that this area is renowned for. Early morning game drives as the sun rises and in the late afternoon as the sun sets will be the norm.

Days 11, 12 & 13 Chobe National Park (Camping)

Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, will be your next destination. Enroute traverse the drier region of Savuti where bull elephants dot the plains. You will then head northwards to the Chobe River where your game drives will meander along the banks of the river.

Days 14 & 15 Victoria Falls, (Lodge)

After a morning game drive cross the Zambezi River by ferry and then drive to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe (visa required), where you will spend the night at a comfortable lodge. In the afternoon there will be time to visit the thunderous Victoria Falls and shop for curios. The safari officially ends at 10 am on Day 15 after breakfast (included).

We can arrange post-tour accommodation, activities and transfers to Livingstone Airport or lodges, Victoria Falls Airport or lodges, or Kasane in Botswana, at additional costs. Activities in Livingstone include white- water rafting down the Zambezi Gorge, canoeing on the upper Zambezi, elephant rides and helicopter flights over the Victoria Falls.
