Day 1: Arrive Lenno, Lake Como

Lenno is 1.5 hours from Como, by scheduled boat. Visit the beautiful gardens of Villa Balbianello, in Lenno or relax on the pebble beach.

Day 2: Bellagio, the ‘pearl’ of the lake, panoramic views & the gardens of Villa Melzi

Loop Walk Bellagio - 4hr walk - + 250m/-250m - Boat transfer to the Bellagio Peninsula

Reach the picturesque village of Pescallo by boat and cross the park of Villa Giolia. Climb to Perlo. Return via Bellagio and the beautiful gardens of Villa Melzi.

Day 3: Bellano – Varenna : Explore the eastern shores of Lake Como

Loop Bellano / Varenna - 3.5hr walk - + 300m/-300m
Enjoy a lovely walk along the lake, to Varenna, the real “dolce vita” ! Walk on a panoramic trail from Bellano, and reach the Castle of Vézio. Arrive in Varenna, a splendid village with colourful houses on the hillside. In Varenna, you can visit the gardens of the Villa Monastero featuring an avenue of rhododendrons, wisteria and large magnolias. Also visit the gardens of the Villa Cipressi.

Day 4:Explore the hills of the Azalea Riviera and visit magnificent Villa Carlotta

Walk Lenno / Villa Carlotta - 3hr walk - + 200m/-200m
From Lenno, your walk will take you through the hills of the Azalea Riviera providing stunning panoramas of the lake and surrounding mountains. Witness the fantastic contrasts between olive groves and immaculate gardens of the glamourous villas, medieval villages and stunning Renaissance churches. Your walk finishes in Tremezzo, at the famous Villa Carlotta.

Day 5: Panoramic trails of Cannobio

Walk - Cannero - Carmine superior - Cannobio - 3hr walk - + 400m/-400m
You start your walk in the small village of Cannero. Walking on the old mule path to the medieval village of Carmine Superior. Magnificient views over Lake Maggiore. Then continue on the panoramic path through villages on your way to Cannobio. Boat transfer from Cannoio to Cannero.

Day 6: The Magnificent Borromean Islands

Boat cruise on the lake from Cannobio to Stresa (1.5hrs)
Stresa is a beautiful little town on the lake shore with traditional narrow streets, and many small beaches along the lake for swimming. Drop your bags in your hotel and then get the boat transfer to the Borromean Islands. Isola Bella with its 17th century palace, Isola Madre with its famous palaces and botanical garden, finally Isola dei Pescatori, a picturesque little fishing village. Boat transfer back to Stresa.

Day 7: Discovery of Strea

Today is a free day in Stresa
