The Danube Walking Trail – Linz to Vienna
Self-guided

The Salzkammergut
Self-guided

A Independent or Guided walking holiday. This walk travels the historic Eastern Europe amber trade route. It starts on the Danube River in Budapest, ‘the Paris of the East’ in Hungary, and finishes in Krakow across the border in Poland. This walking trip's highlights are no less than five UNESCO World Heritage sites, as well as the magnificent Danube Bend, Gothic castles and the amber market at Krakow in Poland.

This guided hiking trip covers some of the best foot trails along the Czech Republic’s ‘Greenways’. Their scenically beautiful trails are well sprinkled with points of interest. Highlights of the walking holiday include four UNESCO World Heritage sites!

The new DONAUSTEIG Pathway along Austria's Danube River is 450 km of walks past the most beautiful sights on the Danube along the ridge of hills from Passau via Linz to Grein. Ancient fortresses, dreamy castles and historic ruins watch over the river while pretty villages and farms invite you to linger. The pathway winds through shady forests, colourful flowery meadows and lively gurgling streams. The recurring views of the Danube are breathtaking.

The beautiful Salzkammergut region in Austria has 76 lakes, all with crystal clear water in a mountain world of rich green alps and impressive rock faces. This unguided walking holiday takes us to the spectacular Dachstein Glacier, a World Heritage region and a wonderland for walkers.
