Your JourneyDay 1 Chobe National Park Start your safari with an amazing sunset cruise on the Chobe River Days 2 – 4 West Caprivi National Park, Namibia You visit two areas of this par: Susuwe and Popa Falls as you head west towards the Okakvango River. Day 4 Tsodilo Hills Re-enter Botswana to the World Heritage site of the Tsodilo where you will see traditional Bushmen paintings dating back to 800AD on walking trails. Days 5 – 7 Okavango Delta Cruise along narrow papyrus–lined channels by motorboat then transfer to mokoro to ‘pole’ to your island retreat. Search for game and birdlife on foot and by mokoro. Day 7 Maun You have the option to return to Tsodilo Hills where the vehicle is parked and drive to Maun or take a scenic flight over the Delta. Days 8 – 10 Moremi Game Reserve Moremi is renowned for its’ wide variety of wildlife and birds. Spend the next three days game-viewing from your vehicle at sunrise and sunset. Days 11 – 13 Chobe National Park Traverse the drier region of Savuti where bull elephants dot the plains then head north along the banks of the Chobe River where some of the largest herds of elephants can be found as well as other riverine species. This adventure safari forms a circular route around the Okavango Delta, starting in Kasane and ending in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. A wide scope of terrain is covered from dry land to delta to ensure you encounter a wide variety of animals and birdlife. The Elephant Safari offers a great value camping adventure through three countries - Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
Participation Safaris are where guests assist camp crew to make and break camp. You stay in dome tents with bed rolls and sleeping bags.
